Newly painted kitchen smells like cheesy feet

It's really disgusting.

Is this normal?

Decorator assured me it's just the sealer and it will go. I've never smelled anything like this before after decorating.

Anyone had similar? What did you do?!

It could be that the paint was off. I’d air it out for a few days and if still bad get the decorator back in to sort it.

I started painting my kitchen with old paint and after a week it still absolutely stank so had to just start again with new paint
