Hi,

We are looking at kitchens for our house and wondering if anyone has any views they would like to share about German Kitchens?

We are leaning towards Warendorf or Siematic.

Any recommendations of suppliers would be useful (we are in Weybridge).

We have just had a Ballerina kitchen fitted but not moved in yet. The hinges and runners are really good quality, deep drawers hold 60+kg weight and very happy with aesthetics

We have a Leight kitchen.

We had a siematic in our old house and it looks good as new 20 years later, no issues with it at all.
I have a much bigger kitchen now and went for Häcker because the price was really adding up with the premium brands. It’s decent quality too.

Hi Grandiflora,

Thanks for this much appreciated. Yes the price to size is also a concern for us, we are leaning towards Warendorf. Siematic is also a favourite but the price point there is slightly higher which then adds up for big spaces.

Any recommendations re supplier / fitter?

Hi,

Thanks for this, will take a look at Leight, have heard of it but we didn't look at it in detail.

I've recently moved into a house with a Siematic kitchen. It is in excellent condition. I would say it was fitted over 10 years ago too, and I'm its third 'owner'

@Denise3434 ours came from eBay as exdisplay from a high end kitchen shop. Take a look on eBay + there are quite a few available and they are usually only a couple of years old so the ranges are often still available. We are blown away by the quality - would never have afforded it and it came with appliances which alone cost more than we paid.
