So if all goes to plan we will be having a new kitchen, navy units with white worktops, white tiled splashbacks, copper handles. Wall layout is:
1 - door from living and bank of tall units
2 - kitchen door, window either side, no units. faces next door's wall so not much light
3 - low units only including sink and window to garden, light not bad from there
4 - low units including hob, then two tall oven housing units at the right
I need inspiration for pain colour! We found a nice blue in Valspar pain - called something like Driftwood. But I'm worried it will be too dark. I did see a colour called something like rose satin slipper but that could be too pink. DH likes the dark colour but as the kitchen can be a bit dimly lit at the best of times I worry that it would feel enclosed. DH says that's what the spotlights are for 
Please show me real kitchens! I've been looking online but most seem to be against white walls - maybe that's what we need, a hint-of-colour shade?
