Moving into a new house soon and im wondering what furniture to put into the conservatory. I have a lovely scalloped velvet cocktail chair but im worried it will fade...will it? I doubt we will have blinds up for a while.

I had a blue dfs sofa in my conservatory for about 8 years. Considerable fading allover but didn’t look too bad as it was a pale blue anyway. I think a darker colour would really show.

How about buying very comfy outdoor furniture (the corner sofa kind) with sun proof cushions? Either Aldi or Lidl sell some good looking stuff very reasonably.

We have matching black and grey sofas and chairs in the front room and our conservatory. The conservatory furniture is lighter than the front room furniture, apart from the back of the sofa which doesn't get the sun due to a brick wall.

Well - if you have a lot of sun - yes it will probably fade. Can you position it with other furniture so it is more shaded ?
