Voile curtain help please!

I’ve ordered some voile panels that I thought would fit on a tension rod but it doesn’t have anywhere to slide the rod through but instead has a panel to use with curtain hooks. The photo online looked like it was hanging from some sort of rod. Please help!

This is the other side so it does look like there’s space for a rod?

Could you order some curtain rings to go on your tension rod so you can hang it with hooks? Return it?
Many years ago I did slide a rod between the curtain tape and the voile panel I had by unpicking the end, I wouldn’t recommend it -it didn’t last long.

Curtain rods were cheap as I thought voiles came with an opening on both sides as standard. Will probably have to return them then!

No, the top in that picture looks taped just as yours are. You might want something that’s termed ‘slot top’ or similar.

They term it a ‘rod pocket header’

@Youdontknowwhatyoureonabout thanks, those ones are a bit different to mine. just googled that type of curtain and it looks like you just slot a rod through them but you can’t with these... unless you’re supposed to open the sides?

I just thought as you were returning the ones you have with header tape on, because you want ones to thread your tension rod through, I would let you know later redoute do the ones for your tension rod.

Curtain buying is hard! I get confused about widths and if curtains always come in pairs or not. It seems like I need a code book to work it all out.

The header tape is sewn top and bottom so
you could simply snip the stitches on the ends giving you a channel for the rod to go through exactly like you wanted.
