Anyone got the IKEA Hemnes shoe cabinet?

I'm looking to get the one shown but it's about a cm too tall for the space. I can't find anything similar elsewhere so wondered about trimming the front legs but can't find the dimensions from floor to base of the unit - I do t suppose if you've got one you could measure please? Either that or a similar slightly smaller alternative would be great.

Approx 5 inches/ 13 cm from floor to base of unit. HTH

I think it will look better without the legs anyway!

Just watch out for the height of your skirting board. You could probably trim the legs but they'd still need to be tall enough to lift the unit clear of your skirting board so it can rest back against the wall properly.

Thank you so much @MintChocAddict Thanks Unfortunately skirting is too deep to just trim so only option is take the legs off completely but then the opening mechanism probably needs clearance plus it won't sit flush. How annoying but thank you for looking I'll guess I'll have to find an another option.

You can't actually get many shoes in those things, anyhow.

That's a shame @phoebemcpeepee Hope you find something similar.

@PickAChew Depends on the size of your family's feet Wink I can squeeze a fair number of pairs in!
