Affordable terrazzo tiles

I need to tile about 10-12m2 of floor as part of bathroom/landing/toilet room refurb, something a bit like on the bathroom floor half way down this page: www.refinery29.com/en-gb/renovated-flat-clapton-photos

However, I nearly choked on my chips when I saw the prices. I had in mind spending about £400-500 on the floor space, but from what I've seen is about at least £100 per 10m2, which would make the materials for whole space £1000+

Does anyone know anywhere I can find them on the cheap?

I don't know how this hippy girl in the article afforded them. Daddy's trust fund?

Have you looked at terrazzo style porcelain? A LOT cheaper and also a lot easier to install and maintain. Pretty convincing these days. See this article.

The article says their terrazzo is 1950s so maybe they found some reclaimed?

I've had some samples recently and most of them just look like a picture printed on a tile. They look great online but not so great in real life.
I think the Terrazzo Nouveau from Mandarin Stone is one of the better options at £60m2. It's quite matte though but is actually chips set in porcelain rather than a print.

Claybrook Trousdale is £56.95 per m2 (but porcelain, not genuine terrazzo). I ordered a sample of 'Presley' recently and it's very nice.

Ca'peitra had some large scale porcelain terrazzo style ones - thunk about 45sqm for 60x60 tiles (but 80x80 was £70sqm)
