Art at Etsy and fading sofa colour

I wanted to buy an abstract art canvas from Etsy but am nervous. I have found some I like but am unsure of the process. It seems the artist replicates the picture. Feel naive/nervous not sure. Has anyone tried it?

And a navy blue sofa is fading and wanted to restore. I think you can paint/dye them. But this sounds like asking for trouble . Anyone tried this or got alternative tips?

I dyed my navy blue sofa several times. It was really easy. Take the covers off and follow the dye instructions. I just used Dylon.

No idea about the Etsy site. If they say they can do it I imagine they can. Etsy is well controlled.

Etsy - if the item is already a finished item (not a custom item) you can buy it and it you don’t like it, you can return it if you notify them within 14 days and ensure you have returned t within 28 us if receipt.you pay return postage if you change your mind

You can also contact the seller and ask for additional photos as well as ask any questions.

Sofa - for many years I had a sofa with removable covers that I washed in Dyelon at least annually. I do know of a friend who used a spray paint made for furniture. I think she bought it in Amazon. Do spray painting outside so you don’t get the overspray of anything else
