Deep seated sofa

After 12 years of living with a brown leather sofa Confused we're finally ready to redecorate the living room and begin researching a new sofa.

We've got a large square living room so could have a 4 seater plus a 3 seater and maybe a chair. We'd like the seat to be quite deep and want a fabric sofa with a fixed back (can't be bothered arranging cushions)

Can anyone recommend a sofa with a deep seat? Not sure on colours yet it's a north facing room and is quite dark.

My dfs sofa has just been delivered and so far I love it. It's dark blue velvet with a formal back, the range is called Plush. I've got the chaise end but they do normal sofas too. It's really deep and that was something I specifically wanted.

Ooo thanks I'll have a look!

I was looking at Loaf but mixed reviews. What's the wait on delivery for DFS at the moment? Nowhere near ready to get it yet but if it's months and months to wait it maybe something to spur us on!

sofa.com sofas are very deep and some are fixed back. All models give you the seat depth info. I had the Isla (65cm seat depth) and it was like sitting on a single bed.

I waited 3 months for mine which is about average

I'm looking at the IKEA Vallentuna as I like the ottoman storage and that the seats look very deep and firm. It is modular so can be arranged as 2 sofas, or a corner sofa or a u shaped sofa etc
