Thanks all. £150 was my ball park too. Just checking I'm not being unrealistic in my expectations!

I live in the north and DS 2 had a very good lady painter and she charges £150 per room for his cottage. She did a brilliant job, brought paint samples and painted some on walls. He said she was really keen on getting the colour right for him before she came to do the job. She worked quickly and efficiently. The result is lovely.
