Furniture placement ideas - Two 3 seaters, one armchair

Hi I have a squareish living room approx 5mx5m and I am looking for furniture placement ideas for 2 three seater sofas and an arm chair. For info we have a fireplace and the tv sits on a unit. Would you mind showing me your layout if you have a similar set up?

I have two settees and a chair with a footstool. I will uploads a couple of pictures to let you see. My room isn't square though.

I have two sofas and an armchair and footstool. My sofas are placed as Apollo's but my chair and foot stool is in the corner where Apollo's TV is and my TV is in the other corner.

@ApolloandDaphne Thanks for sharing. Your room looks lovely and cosy. I think my main issue is that all walls have a recess (if that’s the right word - a bit that sticks out. There is one flat wall but that has a patio door on it leading to the conservatory. Entry to the room is via a bifold door next to a fireplace. I’m struggling to place the furniture without losing the cosy feeling and ending up with the sofas against a wall.

None of my sofas are against the wall. I now have a console behind the cream one and the red one has a space behind it so we can access our sunroom

Mine is smaller, more like 3.5m x 5m.

I've got 2 x 3 seater against the two long walls facing each other, then a chair in front of the patio doors on one of the short walls (away from the doors, you can walk behind it), in the summer I sometimes slant the chair so it's away from the opening side of the patio doors.

I have moved the sofas from the walls, and re-jigged them but it still doesn’t sit right, the arm chair is squashed . I can’t move it any further to the right as the fireplace is there. I can move the TV unit approximately 15 cms to the right. I will see if that makes much difference.

Here are my pics. The arm chair looks out of place and cramped.

Hi I think I would bring your two sofas into the main part of your room. Move the tv so it's central. I would then place the arm chair where the second sofa is to create a reading nook. The two sofas should be at right angles with one facing the fireplace, and the other the tv. You could maybe move your sideboard to the back of the room

Sofas facing each other? Can you put one by the window?
