Is this normal?!

Just had my living room wallpapered - guy left about 12:30 today. I can feel lots of lumps/pockets of paste underneath the paper still. Seems a bit weird to me but never done any wallpapering myself so no too sure?! You don't really notice it as it's quite patterned...

DM does all her own (& our) wallpapering. Some air bubbles are normal and generally go once everything is dried but not pockets/lumps of paste. I think you will have to see what it’s like tomorrow once it’s had a chance to dry out fully.

Hmmm no. My mum was a brilliant wallpaper hanger, and she always got the bubbles out and definitely no lumps. I hope he hasn't wrecked it for you.

I'll see what it's like tomorrow! Thanks. He also left a blade from one of his tools behind - I found it in the wash basket (I have a two year old so glad I found it first!!) and there are few small gaps. Not too impressed!
