Green wood stain on new coffee table

Hiya I purchased a coffee table from John Lewis made from mango wood and it arrived with the wood with green strains. I know this can be a natural colour on mango wood but is there any way of removing the stain? I've read that sunlight can help the stain fade but wondered if anyone had any other suggestions or happened to have experience of natural green stains fading

Ultimately I know I can always return it but it took months to come back into stock and is now out of stock again!

I think you should return, JL sold me a broken chandelier and then kept putting this one item back into stock and reselling without fixing it, even though I said it was broken. That probably explains the back into stock and now out of stock!
