Help me pick a bed please!

Picking a bed frame is my latest obsession!

Our bedroom has pale cream carpets, off white walls and a navy back wall, which the bed will be against. Furniture is all white (Ikea Hemnes - I'm not very imaginative!

Our current bed frame is dark wood and clunky and just doesn't go with anything. Definitely want an ottoman bed as we have a lot of stuff and not a lot of storage, but nothing too low. And nothing velvet because the feel of it makes me retch.

Picked out these as the front runners so far but would appreciate an outside perspective or any other suggestions!

I think I like the second of your options best, colour is very nice. I am considering a new bed just now and am currently liking this Next option. They do an ottoman option or a drawer option.

ARGOS Sassaria? Have a google. Lovely linen fabric with a tall headboard. Drawers. Not sure if ottoman option but everyone who sees it loves it and even more the price x

Second one by far the best: rounded shape is soft for a bedroom, colour is less dating than grey and the fact it has no pattern/ buttoning will make it easier to go with different styles.

We purchased a new bed (from Love your home) last year and what I would say having trawled the internet was that beds and bed frames are surprisingly same.

Habitat also have some similar beds

I'm in love with it too - but I don't want to wait 18 weeks for delivery 😂

I agree about the buttons @blazingchairs and DH really doesn't want a tufted bed.

Still on the hunt due to the long delivery time fromade and it was just a wee bit too low.

But I have the same feeling about the material in the first as you do about velvet!

Oh I really don’t like the second one, it looks cheap to me. I’m sorry. The first one is a lot more stylish, but still not sure, what’s the budget.

About £500 but obviously less is best!

@M0rT DH pointed out that that bed would feel like a chair in a waiting room and it put me right off.
