Hi All,

Would welcome any ideas as to what colour might go with my kitchen, please? I wouldn't necessarily have chosen it, but it was put in just before I bought the flat and can't justify replacing it, so I'm looking for a colour that will go with and can't decide - it's cream / very light yellow cupboards with grey tiles and is currently white. For some reason mums net won't let me post an image!

It's north facing so (today's beautiful weather aside) only gets a silver of sun in the morning and evening.

Any ideas very welcome so I can have a browse for after lockdown... thanks everyone!

I'd go for a greeny blue like this one

My kitchen is a similar colour to yours and I’ve tried lots of different wall colours. I’d recommend not choosing a colour that’s too light, as that can make your units look really grubby. As it’s north facing, I’d be a little bit cautious about greys and blues, as those can end up looking really cold in a north facing room.

I went for Pink Ground in the end, which is probably not for everyone. Next to the light cream units, it doesn’t actually scream pink at you as much as you might expect! It’s a lovely warm colour

A light sage green could also work

Thanks everyone! When lockdown’s over I’ll try some sample pots... much appreciated

I’d suggest a murky pinky colour, too, even if very light. A yellow-toned cream would look good with a similarly warm colour. The north light will pick up blues and greys more, so you might need a much pinkier tone for ur to work.

I’d also suggest a pinky colour. Your kitchen sounds similar to mine and I went for Dulux Just Walnut which appears to have a pink tinge in my kitchen. It’s light enough yet it’s also very warm and cosy too.
