So am looking to get topiary plant to put outside my door. I will put it in a larger pot, but how do I do this, it's artificial but I imagine I would still need to create holes in the pot I'll be putting it in due to rain collecting inside of it?
What do people put inside to make it heavy and to raise the plant higher up?
I've attached photo of the type of plant am referring to.
I hope this made sense

Something like a brick or broken terracotta pots could go into the big pot. Then I'd put the faux plant in. Then fill the space left with gravel/pebbles. I don't think you will need holes in the big pot.

If there's no holes in the big pot, wouldn't it collect rain water ?
