Help me find this shower curtain

I stayed in an apartment in Boston about 3 years ago and I still can't stop thinking about the shower curtain. It was a heavy white waffle fabric (not waterproof, it had a thin normal shower curtain behind it).

I know it's probably the most impractical thing in the world but I don't care, I need it! I've looked everywhere and can't find anything similar anywhere. So, anyone know where I can find one of these (probable mould magnets)?

Oh I have one of those! It’s 2 separate curtains and the waffle one is heavy.

I got mine from John Lewis but it was a long time ago, maybe 6 years ago.

@Deux ooh yes that's exactly it. How do you find it? Is it practical?

JL don't seem to do it anymore 😔 but I have renewed optimism now I know they do / have existed in this county!

@Cakeandslippers I love it. It’s on an over bath shower and we just put the thinner one in the bath when showering. The outer waffle one doesn’t get wet at all. Unlike the look of it. It’s been washed loads and looks good. One small niggle is that the waffle one shrank a little lengthwise the first time I washed it.

@LubaLuba aaaaahhhh wow, thank you! I've been looking for years, of course mumsnet would have the answer. It is suspiciously cheap though so I won't get too excited yet in case it's not quite right but it's the closed I've ever seen and looks very promising 😁

You could get the same effect by buying 2 separate curtains maybe if you find a waffle one somewhere?

@Deux that's what I was hoping you'd say, I really loved it when we were away. I'm planning on painting our bathroom a rich dark blue, we have white tiles and I need a nice curtain, a glass thing isn't practical with the shape of the room and having to bath the kids and this fits the bill, so glad it is practical!
