M&S sofas - bounce back or memory foam filling?

I’ve chosen two M&S abbey sofas for the play room. I chose the same for the sitting room, ten years ago, and they’ve lasted well.

But this time I have to choose between memory foam and bounce back for the filling. I have no idea and my local M&S doesn’t have either in stock for me to try sitting on them. I’ve ruled out relaxed fibre for the filling, as I don’t like the slouchy look at all, and want something that will be both supportive and won’t need shaking, pillow style, all the time. But I don’t want too firm either!

Well! We went with bounce back and I wish we hadn’t! They are incredibly firm, and three months on, remain so. I’m hoping they will soften, but they’re very, ahem, supportive.

How are you finding the quality of your sofas, M&S seem to be the only ones I like right now, previously had next but due to the light colour and subsequently having kids not in the best condition

These are my second Abbey sofas from M&S. The first two are in a different room and are still going strong after 10 years, no plans to replace.

We have Abbey; 4 seat sofa and love-seat, bought in 2008. Brown leather - which, I know, is considered hideous by the MN Massive. But they are, more or less, indestructible.

I've replaced the leather seat covers with home-made in dark brown velvet. Much warmer.

We will buy a new set next year and they will be from M&S.

Just wondering if there are M&S shops in/around London where it is possible to see M&S sofas?
Does anyone know how M&S sofa compare to John Lewis?
