Master bedroom-What should I do?

I’m keen to improve my bedroom without spending a fortune. What would you change/rearrange to make the bedroom nicer.

At the moment as soon as you walk into the room the mirrored wardrobe is on the far wall, there is a gap, the bed and a nightstand. The other wall is the window and a radiator. Opposite the bed is the dresser, then the bedroom door and a dressing table. The final door leads to the en-suite (pics attached).

Should I move the bed to in front of the window, ignoring the radiator? Do I need to get rid of the dresser or change my bed frame?

Get rid of the teddies

Remove (or paint over) the wallpaper. One consistent pale restful colour for the whole room.

Lighter carpet or, cheaper option, large lighter rug.

Nothing metallic. Soft neutral colours.

Thanks everyone, some great ideas.

@parietal it is a pax wardrobe. I like the idea of splitting it but I think it will be too difficult as it’s got sliding doors.

@fruitbrewhaha Agreed about the wallpaper, teddies and the bed frame.

@dudsville I can’t get rid of the wardrobe or the dresser as they are both full to the brim. I can move the dresser out of the room though, I’m seriously considering this tbh.

@JaninaDuszejko some great suggestions. The furniture is all matching (except the wardrobes, they are plain white with mirrored sliding doors. The stuff under the dressing table does need to be hidden away. I also have a stool for the dressing table, DD had borrowed it.

I’m thinking: attach tv to the wall, get rid of the teddies and tat that has accumulated above the wardrobe, take dresser out of the room, get rid of the crap under the dressing table, get my dressing table stool back from DD and get rid of wallpaper and make walls all the same neutral colour, something to match the curtains. I also plan to either replace the bed frame to a frame without the footboard (or whatever it’s called) or to spray my current frame white. Have I missed anything?

My suggestions are; Get your TV wall mounted. Floor length curtains. A rug for next to your bed. Maybe a plastic container to store your teddies underneath it. Maybe have the headboard at the window. bedsheets/cushions that match your curtains and wallpaper
