We live in a modern three storey townhouse. I like the house but the ground floor has been my bugbear since we moved in 15 years ago! Finally due to an inheritance I can start planning an overhaul.
Ground floor currently has an internal garage, downstairs loo, three good sized hall storage cupboards and a large kitchen diner leading out to the garden. The light isn't great as it is a long mid terrace.
I'm think new kitchen/moving boiler & pipes/flooring/utility in garage/new front and back doors/new garage door to allow some light and ventilation.
It will be long and messy, I know that, but from when you started planning, right through to completion, how long did it take?
We are meant to go away first two weeks of July, so that would be a good time to book in with my joiner for the messiest kitchen rip out and replace, so we can at least come back to some appliances.
