I am currently trawling, but I just wondered if anyone had any ideas that google isn't obviously throwing up for us.
We are (hopefully) coming into some money soon, and my heart is set on a dark green velvet/plushy sofa. A really really comfy one.
My max is £2k but obviously I'd like to spend much less if poss!
Photo is our current old leather sofa - what I really want is this one, but in velvet. The style is perfect, but I'm sick of having to sit on cushions because its cold and sticky. The kids are 11 and 13 now so no longer worried about spillages and wotnot. Although would still like something robust.
I really like the joules patterdale - its not quite the green I was after (I'd prefer darker) and the arms are a bit too 'perky' It is a good price though www.dfs.co.uk/patterdale/ptd14apdv
I also like the Loaf sofas (theres even one called sugarbum!) I like the Slowcoach, Strudel and Cinema too. All extra large. All slightly over budget! If anyone has a loaf sofa and can give me an opinion, that would be great!
It has to be just sofa - about 250cm wide. (no chaise bits but if it had a recline feature my 11 year old wants it!)
NOT cushion back
Short robust legs preferably
Mostly smooth - no buttons/chesterfield style
Comfy side arms that you can lean on
