Hi has anyone used this please and how has it been?

I have Van Gough Karndean elsewhere but considering Knight tile for a a larger area due to cost. However I know someone who had a bad experience with it but I think that may have been how their kids were allowed to attack it!

If you have had it and it's good let me know and also if you know a per square metre cost would be helpful. Thanks

What's the wear layer on it and is it suitable for where you want to put it? Providing it has a decent wear layer for the amount of traffic and it's fitted well, it should be fine. Get a sample and see how easy it is to mark with shoes, toys, cleaning tools, etc. then decide.

I had Karndean Knight Tile in my old flat. When I moved out a decade after installing it, it still looked perfect. I often had people mistaking it for a real slate floor, so it looked pretty realistic too.

I have VanGogh in my current house and in terms of durability and how good it looks, I can’t see that much of a difference. The VanGogh has been discoloured in some places by the sun. There’s also a lot of scratches as the previous owner had a dog.

Based on that, I’d say that how you treat the floor probably makes a bigger difference than what range of Karndean you buy!

We have Orkney in our utility/kitchen/living area and conservatory. It has worn in one place where something heavy gets pulled back and forward over it every day, but generally it's very forgiving with 4 children and 2 dogs and doesn't show the dirt too much. It does scratch if you pull heavy furniture over it roughly so you just need to be a little careful. Can't remember how much we paid - maybe £25 pm laid? We had a horrendously uneven floor and you wouldn't know!

We have knight tile karndean in bathroom and had it 3 months. It's pretty decent looking and feels super tough. Reckon will last forever!

I think ours is Knight tile and I love it! We have in a parquet style and get loads of compliments on it. It’s hard-wearing and easy to clean too.
