We have just had 3 rooms knocked into one to create a kitchen diner living space. There are so many options for flooring I am unsure. Quite a few friends have used polymor flooring like camaro and Karndeen. Wondering what flooring choices people have went for? What works?

Anyone? I have just read that vinyl flooring marks - I had planned to move my dining room table and sofas depending on the season so vinyl might be a no go.

This is mine when it had just been laid about 13m ago. Polyflor Camero.
I've had exactly the same in the hall for about 10 years, no marks.

I am about to have camaro cashmere oak fitted in my kitchen, hallway, dining room and downstairs bathroom. It is going in Thursday and Friday so I will post a picture then.

We have porcelain wood look tiles. They are brilliant, totally bombproof, but we have underfloor heating and I wouldn’t want them without.

That's good to know there are no marks after 10 years. My idea is to swap my sofas with my dining room table to the bifold area in summer and then back to the wood burner in the winter so will be moving quite heavy furniture around. My husband was keen on tiles particularly for the kitchen area but I felt you would need under floor heating as it is concrete underneath. Look forward to seeing your photos Proudboomer. Thanks for all your posts

Flooring is down. Excuse the mess but still a lot to do. New skirting boards, oak doors and decorating starts next week.
