Help me with this window please...

What would you put in this window? I'm leaning towards blinds as want some privacy but what kind of blind would suit it best? Roman? Vertical? Do I add light voiles to soften it? I'd like the room to be modern but cosy. Please help if you know about this sort of thing becuase I really don't, thank you

How about perfect fit blinds.

What is the room used for? Does it need to be darkened Eg bedroom or kept light Eg hobby room? Never vertical blinds though.

Its the living room, south facing so gets a lot of light naturally but there's only a tiny tiny garden at the front so anyone walking past the house could see in. Note taken about the verticles 😄

Hi OP, I would go for a Roman blind fixed on the wall above so that it falls just outside the recess and finishes on the sill.

This with a sheer roller blind, fitted into the recess, that you can leave down all of the time for privacy.
