Hi, I really thought I was going to love this colour and wanted to paint my hallway in it. The sample arrived and it looks like........plaster board in all honesty. The online pictures are so beautiful that I keep trying to convince myself it would look the same with the walls completely covered!! So. Has anyone painted their walls with F&b sulking room pink??? If so I would really appreciate pictures.

Not Sulking Room pink, but I did try to love Pink Ground in my bathroom. But it looked like Germolene in all honesty. I switched to Dulux Blush, much softer and the effect I was after.

I will use the F&B tin I bought, eventually - I will try it in another bathroom with a different aspect (F&B always make much of how light alters the magical pigments in their paint) and I will use it on the inside of a linen cupboard. And to upcycle a tatty old chest of drawers - eventually, I will use this damn' paint!

I've currently got some Mylands and Little Greene samples for my next project - I'm giving up on F&B as their quality doesn't match the hype and I'm a bit fed up of the cult, tbh. Don't be afraid to abort and try something different, but I know what you mean - the advertising is so effective that you end up doubting your own eyesight. Oh, but do also bear in mind that by the time you add furniture and pictures the walls will look different again.

The joys of decorating, eh?
