We have a house where the front door opens into a very small porch that’s been added, this then opens into the living room, so there’s no hallway.
We’re looking for a small side table, or cabinet type thing to put by the door, next to the end of on of the sofas that can be used to put keys and post on, maybe with a shelf or cupboard below where small things (gloves, umbrella) can be put to keep them out of the way. DD is 18 months so has some mittens, hat, a mini rucksack that goes to nursery with spare clothes and at the moment they just clutter up the living room.
Does anyone have something like this, where is it from? Or does anyone have an alternative storage idea? We want it to go next to the sofa without coming higher so can only be 70cm tall, but it’s a seat that doesn’t get massively used so doesn’t also need to function as a side table for drinks etc.
