Abigail Ahern does gorgeous faux flowers. They are expensive, but she does do good Black Friday sales!

Fox flowers and Abigail Ahern, completely different than anything else but very expensive

I think you can - someone has a massive faux flower display in a window near me and it is a real show stopper. You really have to look closely to tell and even then I wasn’t sure until a month had passed and they were still there.
However it would bug me knowing they weren’t real. I’d personally spend my money on dried flowers or plants. I have actually dried my own flowers this year (gypsophila, hydrangea) and found some dried honesty in a charity shop.
It all depends on what kind of look you are going for I suppose.

Cream in Cornwall do particularly lovely artificial flowers I think they always look very real.

The names and links provided have really strengthened my view that faux flowers truly are a hideous thing.
They don’t look remotely real and most of the Abigail Ahern stuff I’ve just looked at is browning and wilted!
Am I missing something??
Almost everything in the ‘faux botanicals’ range looks like something you’d find in Miss Havisham’s house!

Case in point!
A vase of death and decay..

I get spiders' webs on real flowers; I would get a whole mini-beast colony if I had fake ones.

@Swaddlemeinplants that has made me howl. They do look rather grim don’t they? Awful lighting doesn’t help. Needless to say I’m still buying fresh! I really wanted some of the preserved type ones but they’re not quite doing it for me other than the ones costing literally hundreds, plural!

I don't have a local florist so I can pick up a few stems. If you want a vape shop or a kebab then that's no problem.

Ha ha! I think I’d quite like Miss Havisham’s house if it wasn’t quite so covered in dust!

I do like real plants though and have about 30 in my house, which balances out the death and decay. Smile

Dried pampas grass looks lovely.

There are companies (e.g. Shida.florist) that sell dried flower bouquets. They're lovely!

Good garden centres have nice ones. Our local Squires has really realistic flowers - not cheap but the hydrangeas are especially lovely.
