French Connection Camden Sofa from DFS

Does anyone have the French Connection Camden 3 seater sofa from DFS please? Could you let me know your thoughts please? How is it wearing? Any pitfalls? I’m interested in the colour steel. As with the Zinc sofa do the cushions slide around etc. TIA.

We’ve had them for less than 24 hours, so too early to say :) They look gorgeous in teal.

This is the 2-seater

There are greener bits in the fabric IRL which don’t show up so well in the photo and the sofas blend in very well with the walls; they look as if they’d clash in the photo.

Thank you. I’ve just instituted a “no food in the living room” rule, it should be interesting to see how long that lasts. Also need to remember to close the door at night so the cat can’t go there and try her claws on it.

Yes I’m worried about the cats even when I’m in the room 🤣. I’m hoping the thicker material won’t rip like say a velvet fabric. Anymore pictures would be lovely as I’m trying to decide whether to go for a colour or grey. I’m sure I’m going to be sick of grey by next year 😆. Thank you again for taking the time to reply.

I’m not sure about the square cushions, I might send them back. I think yellow would go better as an accent colour.

The coffee table is obviously not as enormous as it looks here and might need a change.

The grey was nice BTW but we have light sand carpets and light turquoise walls and I thought it might not go well.

Not got photos to hand, sorry, but I have this sofa as a four seater in teal. Not my normal style but I really like the colour. Have had it since November 2017 and the cushions are fine. I have been really happy with how it's aging - I have a toddler, though no pets, and it still looks really smart.

I’m so toying with the teal but saw the dark grey in the shop so I’m not sure what to do 🤷‍♀️ 😂. I’m so indecisive 😳. My concern is the green bits in it which another lady mentioned. Thank you for commenting I really appreciate it.

It's a big investment that you have to look at everyday, so completely understandable! I definitely just see blue in my sofa but it could be because of the surrounding decor. I have curtains with blue elements that (though a really different style) work nicely with the sofa because of it. Maybe not really helpful but for lack of pictures, here are the curtains to show the blue that the sofa brings out:

We have had the sofa in grey for 12 months and it's wearing really well! It's in our kitchen and has had a few spills on it (despite banning food and drink) and it cleans up so well, no stains.

It's really comfy too!

Highly recommend.

And the cushions don't slip!

How do you find the couches for comfort? Are they high enough on the back?

We have it in the taupe brown colour. Have had it 4 years now. It went through baby stages for my DD and puppy stages for my dog. It’s had sick on it, fruit shoot spillages, pasta spillages etc and still absolutely fine. Once a year it gets cleaned and any marks that were on there come right off no problem.

Secondly how is the sofa?
Me and my partner just ordered this waiting on delivery it looks so lovely but I’m worried it won’t keep its comfort or shape as I have never had luck with fabric sofas
