South and north facing room - help!

[Mintsu]

The front of my living room is south facing but the back is north facing so it looks bright at the front and a bit dim at the back.

What color shall I paint it?! Help!

Light colours suit south rooms. Warm colours suit north. So a light, warm colour would work. Something with a tone or hint of yellow, brown, red or orange. Or a warm neutral.
