Headboard help

Please can someone help me find a headboard that works in our new bedroom??

The only place for the bed overlaps the two windows so it has to be a really low headboard.

I prefer the look of the upholstered ones, but also struggling to figure out what colour to go for. Our bed base is a non-desctipt beige, greyish pink walls, and white bedding & furniture.

(I also know we need some more/bigger pillows...the superking bed looks ridiculous with our current ones 🙈)

You could have a high one if you put battons on the wall or sawed off the window sill. . It need not be the same width as the bed.

Would it not look weird to have the headboard covering the windows?

Please don't start sawing off windowsills!
Also don't have a narrow width headboard just so that it fits between the windows.
No, it won't look great but it will look better than those alternatives. Why does it need to be that wall?

Christ don’t saw off yout window sill, never heard such a mad suggestion.

I’ve had beds where the headboard is over the window, it looks fine.

Could you get a headboard made so that at bed level it is the width of the bed then narrows to fit between the windowsills?

You could do something like this with a curtain pole
