Hi I'm getting a magazine subscription for Christmas and looking for recommendations. We are about to renovate our house so thinking of a home magazine. Have had Ideal Home but was thinking of Elle Decoration, although I've never read one. Thanks!

I like Elle Decor. Living is quite good too. World of Interiors is good.

It depends on what you like - if you like a more country/antique look try the ones with titles that reflect that.

I find that I tend to read them to confirm my own taste (not necessarily a good thing) so something that gives you new ideas is ideal.

Have a browse to a few before decing on a subscription .
My favourite is ELLE Decoration Country but I also like Homes and Gardens ,World of Interiors, AD , Elle Decorations ,Living Etc.

Those are the ones I like too, but I also like 25 Beautiful Homes because I'm nosy.
The 'your home' type ones are a bit samey but ok for more 'high street' ideas. I think given a choice I'd get Elle decor.

Country living modern rustic is nice. Quite expensive at £12 but quarterly and a beautiful magazine to have on a coffee table.

Really depends on your taste: Living Etc and Elle Deco are competitors, both skewing to contemporary style, Homes & Gardens/ House & Garden likewise in a more traditional mode. World of Interiors sets itself apart a bit, is more classic in scope.

I love 25 beautiful homes!! Not sure if it's the most helpful for reno purposes but it's a great weekend read and helps me to plan my dream house (in my head).

Real Homes, Ideal Homes and Good Homes. I find House & Garden and similar titles pretty boring.

I have subscription to World of Interiors. My main interest is modern design eg. I'm a member of 20th century society too. I find plenty to keep me interested / entertained.

However, it's not very good for inspiration for my own home because the stuff featured is far too expensive. I like nice furniture but am not in the market for a 12K dining table.

Elle Deco is a bit more grounded but still quite high end (it's been a while since I had a look at a copy though).

I like Living

Get a Readly app and you can read them all for £8 a month.

Sometimes the Lidl app has a free trial of it.

I like the cheapy ones because I stand a chance of affording it what they’ve used Blush
