Hi All,

Please can someone help me here..... I need a new blind for my kitchen and just can't make a decision!
Kitchen has cream cupboards and metro tiles, walls are painted skimming stone (a nice light grieve), and it's north facing so a bit gloomy. What would you put at the window??? It's so neutral that just about anything will go, but nothing is inspiring me!

Thanks for any inspiration Smile

Absolutely nothing, why block light in a north-facing, gloomy room? Bare windows are fine in a kitchen.

Thanks @burritofan , but need some privacy at night.
I could go Roman, roller, Venetian....... my concern with Venetian is that it's quite a big window and would be heavy to keep raising up a d down.

I’d go for a roller blind with some nice warm colours, but not too dark. I don’t know about your style, so have attached a few examples. They can all be found here:

I have the same decision to make after taking down my old blinds which were a bit ‘granny’ according to my teenager! They were flowered Roman blinds that we never needed to lower. We also have a north facing kitchen but with cream/yellowing cupboards and black granite work tops. Without the blinds it looks stripped out so think it needs something. Desperately trying to bring it up to date rather than spend out on the many things that need changing! Navy blue? Grey?

@lulubooboo I was thinking Navy originally, but maybe it's a bit cold. Basically I'm going round in circles!

@Crazzzycat Thank you, I quite like the first one - maybe orange is the way to go!
