Sliding wardrobe doors

Anyone have these and how do you find them? Are they noisy when you move them or do they glide silently?!

Ours are from b&q (4x huge mirrored sliding doors). They do have a slide sound but it's not loud, it doesn't wake either me or dh up if we open them at night. I'd compare it to a soft shhhhhhh sound.
They do make the house shudder when ds does a run and push on one from one end to the other tho, the wobble and crash sound is pretty loud when it hits the wall at the opposite side

Ours are mirrored and were in the house when we bought it. They slide very quietly although bump quite loudly when pushed too fast and hit the ends!

I have a set of three solid wood sliding doors; they replaced some very flimsy ones the previous owners put in. Like other PPs they are quiet on the runners but if pushed too hard will bump into the end. I expect there's a product that you can stick to the end that cushions the bump.

I have ikea ones. It was a pain to install, but very happy with them now. they make a bit of a low rumble, but I can hear everything in my house...

@MsSweary - would you mind saying where you got them from? The reason I ask is that for our room we'll need a custom size and wood is likely to be significantly cheaper than custom glass!

I'm almost certain I got them from Direct Doors earlier this year; I cleared all my emails during the summer otherwise I could find the order confirmation. They do bespoke sizes as well I think. I bought the sliders from them as well. Doors are surprisingly expensive aren't they but they really complete a room.

Thank you - much appreciated. There are ten sets of doors in the room! I've got my 'gym' in there during lockdown and was thinking of painting just the ceiling to start with as the walls, ceiling, doors, all woodwork and carpet are all the same colour.
