Searching for a sofa!

Moving house next week and have an extra lounge to decorate from scratch, so I'm hoping for a few recommendations for new sofas! I love the sofology cricket sofa pictured but the reviews are horrendous...long wait times and damaged goods on delivery etc.

Also found recommendations for Barker and Stonehouse on here but turns out they don't deliver to NI. Gutted.

So, does anyone have any recommendations? Looking for a good quality blue or teal corner sofa that preferably won't take 17 weeks to arrive! Thanks 😊

I'm looking for the same thing! Made.com have some nice ones but inconsistent reviews make me wary

@Misty9 it's so tricky isn't it! Such a lot of money and it feels like a gamble. I feel like I've looked through every major retailers website and just can't find what I'm looking for. Or I find it but they won't deliver out of mainland UK

Same here I've got temporary sofas and it feels like they might become rather permanent - a futon and a sofa bed!

I'd happily buy secondhand but even that is seemingly impossible!

We currently have sofas that we can use but they aren't in the best nick so was hoping to change them sooner rather that later.

Does anyone know what the quality of Oak Furniture Land or Furniture Village sofas is like?

I have Cricket from Sofology and I love it.

I have a four seater with narrow footstool. The love seat wiith the wide footstool is the best seat on the house. Glorious napping and cosy reading. We paid extra to get the sofa that breaks apart on the middle for when we move.

If you like the shape, Made Scott is similar and I think IKEA have something along the same lines too.

@WineNotTheLabel oh fab! I really love the look of it and nothing else is comparing. I'm just so scared by the huge amount of negative reviews recently. Have your sofas held their shape and are they easy to clean? We have a toddler who isn't easy on our sofas 😂

We got lavish teal my friend bought the green after seeing mine, same combination 🤣. Take a look on Instagram #cricketsofa. Absolutely no regrets.

The love seat is like new because it gets less use, albeit the DC are all over it. The seat cushions on the main sofa don't look like new but they are in great shape for two years of constant use. The side side cushion could dip in the middle. OH follows instructions and pulls all of the cushions off and moves them around so they are sound.

DC had an incident of sitting on melted chocolate and it cleaned up ok. DC aren't allowed food or drink (anymore).

I liked Made's Scott for the shape but the seat was too hard. I wanted a sofa we could lounge on and watch films and Netflix. The cushions on Cricket are really deep and so comfortable. We take off the side and back cushions when people stay (or for big naps).

You're selling me on the cricket too - ask for commission! Did you say you've got the 4 seater and footstool? I'm thinking that might be a better combo than a chaise or corner set up.

Four seater is currently comfortably seating two 6 footers and one me.

I wanted a chaise or corner unit. Oh doesn't like them so we got footstools instead. I'm glad now because of the flexibility. When we had people over we moved the footstools against the walls for extra seating. The long one is very firm and almost the height of the sofa (so a good bench). The rectangular one is much softer. Totally recommend Sofasofa.com (rather than Sofa.com) - great quality and incredibly reasonable. It felt like a bit of a gamble for us as they have one showroom - in Wales - so going there was out of the question. Am happy to say the gamble paid off!!!
