Try made.com. I ordered some a few weeks ago and they came within a couple of weeks. I was a bit dubious about what the quality would be like but they seem fine.

Try Snug. Ordered one on Sunday being delivered next Friday.

I came on to recommend Snug too. They look great, hold their shape well and are super comfy. I've had mine for a year now and it's still perfect. They did have a really good offer on for black Friday weekend last year so might be an idea to wait and see for a week.

Which sofa did you order? I've been thinking about getting one from there.

campbellsfurnitureco on Ebay. They have a shop in Manchester. Brilliant. They deliver in two weeks normally. Family owned. I recently bought a lovely sofa for my kitchen diner.

We ordered one from Swyft yesterday. It is coming on Saturday.

Their sofas come in and out of stock very quickly, so even if the one you want isn't available now, it will still arrive a lot quicker than waiting months for one from a traditional supplier - deliveries arrive at least every 10 days from the factory. I have become intimately acquainted with this as I waited for the one I wanted to become available again!

Loaf have some in stock ready to go

How are you all so confident about buying online? I tried so many sofas before lockdown, and many of them were so uncomfortable that I sat down and then got straight up again. I'd have thought that the odds of a random sofa turning up and being to my comfort, are pretty low.

I sold a poang leather chair on FB a few weeks ago to someone who'd just moved into her own place, bought a sofa online, and it was so uncomfortable she'd had to buy my chair as an emergency purchase, just so her bum wouldn't hurt!

Look for independent furniture shops near you, ours is letting people in by appointment and have stock

We got 2 ‘Dallas’ sofas in a tan leather. Wasn’t too worried about comfort as they are for a room that the kids use but they are really comfy!

We've just bought some really nice sofas from Argos recently, came the next day and we've had so many compliments they look much more expensive than they were and very comfortable.

Loaf?

@Misty9 we bought the very cheap and cheerful Yoko for the DC's playroom two years ago. We have a guest bedroom so the playroom sofa only needs to be used as a sofa bed rarely (maybe once a year for the odd night) but with 3DC it has had some rough use as a sofa. It was wobbly from the day we bought it, the front fabric covered legs aren't well connected to the main body (think some of the reviews on the website mention it - the screws aren't long enough). DS jumps on it all the time and has already broken a spring and while it was firm and comfortable initially it is now noticeable when in bed format that the seat is now a lot less firm than the back. It's clearly a very cheap sofa but I have a 20 year old IKEA Klippan that is in a much better state. We'll be replacing it in another couple of years probably, once DS is at secondary and a bit calmer and more sensible.

We have a solid oak desk from Made that is gorgeous and much better made so it's clearly a case of pick your furniture from there carefully but if you have children who like jumping on furniture go to IKEA!

@CountFosco ha, that's my current temporary sofa! I've got it at right angles with a futon to mock up a corner set up 😂
My yoko has fared a lot better than yours by the sound of it but it was rarely used for years. It's never been a comfortable bed though as the difference in hardness between the back and seat is too much.

I'll wait for ikea to reopen and go sit on some I think. Reviews are mixed though.
