We're sprucing up the current kitchen - keeping the wood cabinets but having them painted a light grey, keeping the black granite worksurfaces, and need to re-tile the splashback.
I've had a sample from Mandarin Stone, which I really like:

Hoping I can find something similar for cheaper. The look I'd really like is slight variation amongst the tiles, so they'd all be the same colour, but it wouldn't be a block of the same. (So as a completely different example, something like this which is all the same tiles, but they've got slight colour differences:www.mandarinstone.com/product/hoxton-teal-gloss-porcelain/).
Has anyone used these shape of tiles, what do we think? And was thinking of white or cream at a push, we've got terracotta floors, so nervous about adding in more colour with the floor, grey cabinets and black worksurface, but is that a bit dull??
