Kitchen lighting with no wall cupboards

Our new kitchen design has no wall cupboards. Various reasons.

My main concern is lighting. I use under cupboard lighting a lot, but without cupboards I'm not sure where to fix the lights.

Has anyone else had this? Or have any ideas?

We have no wall units, spotlights in the ceiling for us. No shadows from the wall cupboards mean no need for additional lighting

Thank you. I'm trying to avoid spotlights, maybe I just need to look at more ceiling lights.

We have just had a new kitchen and do have wall units with lights but don't need them at all. We have spots and 3 ceiling lights that would have been enough really. If you have a cooker hood, thay will have a light too.

Our main lights aren't spotlights, the spotlights are on a separate circuit and in a run above the worktops

We have wall lights which look fab and provide great task lighting

I like the idea of a separate circuit murmurgam. Dh wanted coloured led lights along the kickboards. I think that will just highlight any dirt. Maybe ceiling led would work?
