Cushion inserts keep going flat [sad]

Hi

I have a real issue with flat cushions - I can't bear them.

I recently got some new inserts, two inches bigger than the case.

They looked wonderful and firm until a couple of days where people have been leaning on them.

Now the corners look empty and and they look a little floppy - I do like a good firm cushion that stands upright.

Can I add more stuffing to the insert?

Is there anyway of getting a show home looking cushion that stays in that condition?

Thank you

Buy feathered inserts- game changer.

Just buy a new pillow for your bed, wash the old one, sew two lines across the middle and cut it in half then use the little square cushions produced to add puff to the inserts you’ve got.

Thank you.

Does feather stay plump?

Oooo, that's a good idea @5zeds, thank you.

Wool cushion filling is very long lasting and plump and also re-plumpable when it eventually flattens (after like 2 years...)

I got mine from Baavet but loads of wool places sell it.

@jojomolo

Ooooo, I've never heard of wool filling - thank you.

I'll take a look x

If you put a small vision inside the bigger insert it holds the stuffing out and into the corners. You don’t have to make them like I said upthread, that’s just what I would do (because I like new pillows on my bedGrin).

@5zeds

Thank you.

I will give it a go - I detest floppy cushion corners.
