I've recently bought an antique walnut dining table, similar to the one in the picture, and need some chairs to go with it.
I'm crap at colours and style! All I know is I don't want chairs with very tall backs. Max 90cm ideally. I don't mind buying new chairs. I've been wondering if close but not quite matching brown chairs would actually be pretty bad and I'd be better with a different colour? Or is that a ridiculous notion? I definitely want matching chairs not a trendy pub style mismatch from antique fairs. I'm not keen on faux leather. Fabric would need to be easy to clean due to mucky DC.
Any ideas? I don't know where to start.
