Bifold doors - do curtains look silly?

We have huge bifold doors in our kitchen and we are quite overlooked. Would curtains look awful?

No I don't think so

No but just in case you haven't thought about them, we're putting perfect fit blinds in ours. The blind sits neatly over the glass so doesn't stop them opening properly.

Have you looked at perfect fit blinds or frosted film? A house near us has them on the side of the house so very overlooked, they've put some sort of mirrored film on them so people can't see in but they can see out.

I've got curtains on my kitchen bifolds. They're a heavy cream eyelet. They look ok I think. Certainly help to keep the place warm in winter, and cool in summer. You have to be very careful when you drop a spoon with bolognese sauce! The splashes go a long way so on the odd time it's happened we've had to wipe it immediately.
