Where to get curtains now LA has folded?

I was days away from finally placing my order when Laura Ashley went under, and now I am stuck!

Where should I look for nice big custom made curtains for a huge bow window?!

Can you source the fabric and have them made by a local seam-person?

I've recently ordered curtains from Britannia Rose online. I had two other quotes - one from a local curtain maker and one from a local interiors shop which were very similar, but more than my budget. Britannia Rose were around £200 cheaper for the same fabric, lining, etc. Fingers crossed they are okay - the Trust Pilot reviews which aren't great are due to delays rather than the actual finished products. We took our own measurements.

I was going to make them myself after getting the two local quotes, but the Britannia Rose cost was £100 more than me buying the materials myself, it's a huge window, full length curtains. I reckoned £100 and not having to do it myself was worth it.

Our curtains are in production and I'll keep this thread updated and let you know how they turn out.
