Has anyone done this and were you happy with the results? Have they lasted ok?

No but I’ve seen plenty of people who have done it on Instagram.

Hi, I’ve done ✅ t the first time with Annie Sloane brilliant finish so easy to do but faded within 2 years but that’s not a problem as the paint is so easy to use. Have used French chic this year, to early to comment on results.
I do think even though if you need too repeat paint over the years the look is worth it.

We moved from wood to PVC so we'd never have to get the ladders out to paint the fucking things ever again.

That said, our neighbours got a professional PVC painting firm in to do theirs about five years ago, and it doesn't seem to have gone wrong. Ugly grey-blue, but that's their choice!

@Dogwalks2 Did you use Annie Sloane paint on the outside? I wouldn't have thought of using that. We're planning on painting white so hopefully fading shouldn't be so much of an issue, although perhaps with white there's more chance of them looking a bit grubby!

@TheHighestSardine Ha, yes, that's a good reminder. I've never had wooden windows so probably don't fully appreciate the hassle of having to keep getting them repainted.
