What colour dining table

We have just had our kitchen diner redone and it is white with white counter tops and a White Island . The floor is wooden (oak colour) . We keep going around in circles about the dining table and can’t decide if we should go for a wooden or white table . Would white be too much particularly with a White Island nearby . If we went for wood does it need to match the floor ? Also we would like to inject a bit of colour and wondered about coloured chairs ? Any advice or thoughts ?

We have an oak table and chairs . Oak floors and high gloss kitchen with white quartz countertops . We are think of swapping the table but , like you are in a quandary about it . I think we should keep the oak so that the floor has company
