Just about to renovate our bathroom and looking for inspiration too. I like herringbone tiling and brass (Matt finish) for taps and shower but I’m not sure if it’s just a passing phase and if I’ll regret it in a few years. Personally I hate anything “sparkly” and it has to live up to family life/be hard wearing.

The first and third pictures are in the main bathroom.
Second picture is the shower in my en-suite and we have white cabinets.
Both showers are easy clean glass. We also have water softener and it really helps to keep the showers and taps scales free.
