What colour to paint my home office?

It’s currently painted fresh stem by dulux but I hate it!

Furniture on there which may effect colour is a bright yellow sofa which I use for reading and a white kallax IKEA unit.

I was thinking grey but that’s a bit boring but I know grey and yellow go together.

Any thoughts? It’s a small single size room but is fairly bright if that’s any help.

Anyone?

What about a light blue? Very calming for working in and goes with yellow?

What kind of yellow is the sofa? You could paint the room a shade of blue? There’s some lovely more muted blues around (like Dulux Quintessential Blue, or Farrow and Ball DeNimes). Those would look lovely with your white furniture and would probably go with the sofa too

My office is painted in a Johnstone's copy of F&B Borrowed Light - a pale, pretty blue. I find it fresh and quite restful colour.

With a yellow sofa Denim Drift would look great.

Seconding Dulux Denim Drift. I just painted my office and have a yellow chair and white desk. I love it. I'll try putting some photos on.

I 'third' Denim Drift. I'm sitting in my study now and it's a lovely colour - interesting without being too dark.
