John Lewis marlow wardrobes

I've been toying with fitted wardrobes but they are SO expensive and I haven't actually seen anything I like, it all seems a bit too high gloss! I'd love freestanding mid century style wardrobes but we have too much stuff. The JL Marlow range seems like a decent compromise. Anyone had them and have my comments?
I've had pax previously and liked them, but wanted something a bit different!

JL customer service is now appalling. Look on Trustpilot. They have contracted out their customer services and you can’t go into a shop, or phone a shop, with any problems, you have to call a call centre. Everyone is very “nice”, but no one gets back to you. I had to resort to Twitter to get any answers. (Problems and delays with curtain and carpet fittings)

We have the similar John Lewis
Wilton wardrobes and chest of drawers in grey. They delivered on time, look lovely and we've never had any issues.
