They look amazing but my DP would end up hating each other if we attempted to put one together. We would probably get someone in to do it.

What are rough prices of them, our space is large 7 foot and we would like drawers/shelving inside etc

We have a five door combination, extra high, various drawers / shelves - was about £800 and very happy with it. Was very easy to put together too!

I love my pax wardrobes. So many combinations to choose from and the lady who designed ours in store was brilliant.

I paid ikea to come and assemble them for me. It wasn't outrageously expensive but I can't remember who how much exactly.

There's a pax planner online you can price up and design on their website. We paid about £1000 for 2x150cm width ones with drawers and rails in and mirrored sliding doors. We paid someone £300 to put them up and it was worth every penny, took him a few hours and they are solid as anything. We've put up a lot of furniture but wouldn't have trusted ourselves with those (mainly lack of patience!)

(We had to find someone external as IKEA won't build in our area atm, no idea why, it isn't high risk) but he is usually one of their fitters he does side work.

We had three double ones for about £650 three years ago, but just planning two for my daughter is coming out about that for two. She’s heavy on the drawers though.

Ours are great, very happy with them.

I love mine. Mine a 3 door. Extra height one. We have shelves one side and hanging with drawers and shelf the other. 400 quid. Put it up ourselves and even managed to put wood up to ceiling and side so it looks like a built in wardrobe. It's great

At the minute they have low stock on a lot of the pax range so check they have what you want before committing.

We paid about £450 for ours. Two double wardrobes - one with half full height hanging and half with lower half cubbies, and the other wardrobe has half height hanging at the top and then basket drawers on the lower half. They’re great, but I wish we’d paid the extra for proper drawers.

Love them. Mine were two doubles extra tall for abput 350 (i bought fancy door handles and they looked great)
Got ours fitted to the wall and paid 200 or so to have a guy for them

I almost choked when i saw the ugly ones in our new house cost 9K from sharps (previous owners left the receipt)

CurlyhairedAssassin · 11/10/2020 17:44

Oh yes, Sharps are a total rip off.

Went to IKEA on Saturday (sadly our closest one is an hour away)

Had a look at the PAX stuff - big queues to speak to advisors but not yet at that point.

Did a lot of measuring and deciding over the weekend. Spent far to long on the PAX planner. I think I was fitting wardrobes in my sleep.

Gutted that although my ceiling is 2 cm shorter than the tallest wardrobes they recommend a 4cm clearance from wardrobe to ceiling.

3 x 100 and 1 x 50 with loads of drawers shelves etc comes to £920. Not included handles or lighting as not sure I like the handles. I thought that was excellent value and we probably wouldn't need the 2 chest of drawers we currently have!

Limited stock until January 2021 though!
