Best battery operated lights for under a shelf

In a north facing room, I'd like to inject a little bit more light. I have a floating shelf and was thinking I could put a light strip under it. But there's so much choice! Could anyone recommend something? Preferably not a bright white light or mad colours. There is no socket near the shelf so has to be battery operated.

If you search for 'rechargeable cupboard lights' on amazon you'll find loads.

They have a magnetic strip that sticks under a shelf.. you just take it down and usb charge it.

Ours has an option to stay on or is motion sensed.

There's warm and cool lights.

Thank you! That sounds like exactly what I want 👍🏻

If you have a look for LED tape strip lights, they are fantastic.
It's a thin tape with tiny led lights across it, it sticks anywhere and plugs into a USB charger.
I bought some for my daughter's room and they are really effective, and not at all expensive. I paid around a tenner for 12m, and they can be cut to size with scissors. You can have them on different settings too, static, colour changing and fading.

Sorry just realised you said you had no socket so ignore me 😂
