brushed cotton bedding

I have some brushed cotton bedding from marks, years old but only just starting to look a bit tired.

Its a muted greige colour (i think they call it latte on the label) and just so dense and sort nd fluffy and warm.

I've checked and checked in the shops and online and cant see anything nearly as nice. Has anybody bought some brushed cotton/flanellete bedding recent?

Thanks in advance

xx

We've got a couple of brushed cotton covers from IKEA. You could check there?

I have charcoal brushed cotton sheets and pillows from next which I mix with cotton duvet cover. Washes well.

I bought brushed cotton duvet set and sheet from M&S last winter. It has penguins or something similar on it. I loved it ( it’s not out on rotation yet).
It’s not as heavy as flanelette, but it was lovely and cosy. I think it’s just coming back into store now.

I found mine on line. I think it was the linencupboard.co.uk
Very pleased with it.

I got mine from Dunelm. There wasn't a huge choice of colours though

IKEA have got a dark blue tartan looking one at the moment which is really lovely. And amazon have quite a few Catherine Lansfield ones which are always very good.

I’ve got a really lovely blue brushed cotton duvet cover from the Croft Collection at John Lewis. V soft and warm.

Saw this one in Next the other day. Brushed cotton a bit warm for me but it was lovely, fhwt.app.link/2LumZ9wPjab

I’m fairly sure I got some flanelette from John Lewis a couple of years ago.

developmentarea · 04/10/2020 22:17

If you're anywhere near a Boundary Mill, they have lots of brushed cotton.

margotsdevil · 04/10/2020 22:23

I have several sets. Asda and Tesco are great for them at this time of year.

I have teddy bear bedding on at the moment... it's like sleeping in a cloud so much softer than brushed cotton

Judashascomeintosomemoney · 04/10/2020 22:36

Next definitely. I ordered some grey fitted cotton sheets last week. When they turned up they were brushed cotton which I didn’t want but sounds like what you might be after. They looked nice and snuggley though if that’s what you are after .

Aldi sometimes sell it

MissScarletInTheSnug · 05/10/2020 18:53

Ooooh I love brushed cotton bedding but it always ends up bobbly - any ideas how to stop it?

Ernieshere · 05/10/2020 19:15

We get ours from Argos & Sainsburys.

Erm I wonder does the quality affect it? Mine I’ve had years and it gets washed and worn loads. Maybe tumble drying makes it worse? I just air dry mine as I don’t have a tumbler
