I've had my eye on the wool rug from Dunelm for a while now. In grey. There are some better pictures in the review photos to give a better idea. See link.

Or do you prefer this one below which I've already got? Everyone seems to prefer the one I've already got.

@Spicegirls I prefer the wool one you are considering.

I have owned and loved a shaggy rug and they are lovely to sit on but I think the wool rug looks more stylish.

Hope this helps!

I really like the pebble one and have considered buying it a few times. What is it like, OP? Does it shed terribly? Does it lose its shape?

Shmithecat2 · 03/10/2020 13:22

Definitely prefer the one you already have.

Spicegirls · 03/10/2020 18:37

I'm not sure about the pebble one because I've only seen it in Dunelm.

It looks nice, I thought it looked a bit more expensive and stylish than the shaggy rug.

Dh and the dc aren't keen and everyone I ask prefers the shaggy rug we already have.

Which do you already have? The links and your update seem at odds with each other. I prefer the pebble to the shaggy

lowbudgetnigella · 03/10/2020 18:51

I like the pebble one , it is classier but not enough to pay £600 if you've already got a decent rug

sickohsickofthisshit · 03/10/2020 18:57

Prefer the o e you already have ..

lojoko · 03/10/2020 19:17

Oh I thought you meant you already had the pebble one.

I really like the pebble one!

PickAChew · 03/10/2020 19:21

Go for the pebble one. The shaggy one is actually 100% polypropylene and will probably mat up with use.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 03/10/2020 19:23

Really like the pebble

spottybitch · 03/10/2020 19:28

Neither at that price ! Why are rugs so expensive ?!

Saz12 · 03/10/2020 21:01

Are you intending to get rid of the shaggy one in favour of the pebble (second) tug?

I wouldn’t, seems a bit wasteful. And it’s £600 that you do t need to spend. If the first rug gets worn out, or you’re redecorating the room, then replace it then.

Bluesheep8 · 04/10/2020 07:39

The pebble one. Which your post suggests you've already got

MadamShazam · 04/10/2020 11:03

I would say get the pebble one. I've had to 'shaggy' rugs and I hate them! They are a nightmare to keep clean, especially with a young child, 2 cats and a dog. The pebble rug looks really classy aswell as easy to keep clean.

CurlyhairedAssassin · 04/10/2020 16:31

I don't the pebble one looks easy to keep clean at all! Lots of little "holes" for things to get stuck down. I've got the shaggy rug and find it quite easy to hoover. It's the backing which seems to shed.
